New hair dos, more wrestling and Bob the Builder.

Gracie trying out her new look. What do you think of the pixie?

Gracie and her friend Jessica making a movie.
Carson loves to build things. Here he is with his new set of tools building a bird house from a kit. Pretty neat, huh?
Jack and Mason after wrestling each other in the finals.
Of course the littler ones need time on the mat. This is Will, Sam and Carson.

January 2012

Congratulation's Mason! Last Sunday, Mason participated in his first tournament. After a very long day and four matches, he came home a winner. Bryan and I are so proud of him. Not because he has earned a metal but because he dedicated himself to practice, had the utmost good sportsmanship - every step of the way - and he made sure to thank his dad and family for supporting him. I'm not sure if Bryan put him up to it or he decided on his own that I needed reassurance that he was okay, but after each match he came into the bleachers and gave me a kiss. What a sweet boy, eh? Now, how to do cure bleacher butt??
Mason and his training crew.
This was taken at Sam's birthday party at Bret and Rachel's house.
Carson 'sort of' participated in wrestling this year. Here is a team picture. He's not sure what he wants to do. That's okay :)
Gracie and her friend Becky making cotton candy.
Target practice.
Aren't the weekend's nice when you have nothing to do?

What's Been Happening

Here are the two best men in my life.

Richard was here for a two-week visit and it wasn't even close to being long enough. I know the word 'blessed' is so overused when we talk about the good things in our lives, but I can't seem to find a better word. I am blessed with a kind, fun, successful, and loving brother. He and Bryan get along so well. There are many times when I will go off to bed and those two stay up and get into something fun: a movie, Wii and sometimes the liquor cabinet! Thanks Rich-on for another great vacation.

We went ice skating at the Ice House in Brighton. The Christmas music blared out as the kids floundered around learning to skate. SO MUCH fun. I have good memories growing up skating for hours out in the dairy farm pastures with my brothers. Every kid should know how to ice skate don't you think?

Traditional Christmas Eve brunch with grandpa and the boys. In the past it was a dad's and boys only breakfast, girls weren't allowed. With Gracie being the only girl cousin/granddaughter, times have changed and Gracie and Grandma are allowed :) This was taken at The Feedbag in Fowlerville.

Before church on Christmas Eve.

Christmas day brunch at our house.

Gracie loves making music video's and movies. Here the grandparents gave her a director's chair and hat and Uncle Eric gave her a clapboard.
More weapons for Mason.

Mason's first wrestling meet. What? He's too young to do that, isn't he? Jack is in the second row.

Mason (and Carson) are wrestling with Fowlerville - they like being with their cousins. Here is the team that participated last Saturday. Bryan and Bret were coaches.
We rung in the new year early with some friends.
Our wonderful hosts Kay and Brian Pfaff.
